Scouts (10.5-14)

Being our oldest members (at 10-14yrs), Scouts have our biggest and boldest adventures. Whether it’s navigating through the night, surviving a night under a shelter made from sticks and leaves, or kayaking the oceans blue, one thing’s for certain… our Scouts are ready for the challenge.

Learning the skills to have fun and stay safe is at the centre of what we do. Map reading may conjure up visions of mountains high and valleys low, but can also be very useful when your phone battery has died on a family holiday.

Over the last few years, our Scouts have walked to Wales and back, built their own shelters and fires in the woods, shared an activity-rich camp with 4,000 other Scouts and raised money for local charities- but this is merely a taste of the exciting things we get up to every week!

Our leaders are:

  • Andy Dyer – Scout Leader
  • Anthony Pearson – Assistant Scout Leader
  • Jeremy Smee – Section Assistant

If Scouts is something you’d like to get involved in, please contact us here.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
