Pears Activity Camp
Our Scouts partnered with the Pears Project from Avon Scouts for the weekend of 11th May, to take part in an activity-packed camp. It gave our Scouts an opportunity to try a range of activities at Woodhouse Park Scout Adventure Centre in Bristol.
As soon as we arrived, it was straight into erecting our tents for the night, followed by a fish and chip dinner. Not stopping there, we soon after gathered around a roaring fire and sang some campfire songs. The fire dwindling, we cracked out some marshmallows and sticks and roasted them over the embers.
The next day we were straight into activities. Go Karting, low ropes, crate stacking and the very muddy assault course all filled up the day. In every activity, we pushed ourselves to do more and got a lot out of it as a result.
