We are continuing to offer Scouting remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, because we think it's important to stay connected and continue to learn skills for life. Get in contact to find out more.

Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Our Beavers may be our youngest members (at 6-8yrs), but that doesn’t mean they’re any less able to experience adventure or learn valuable Skills for Life. Camping, crafts, fire lighting, den building, climbing, cooking, and first aid- these are just some of the activities our Beavers have enjoyed recently.

Our Beaver section has grown immensely over the past year, in size and in the range of experiences we offer. Recently, we have been an active part of several exciting events, most notably Once Upon A Camp, where several of our members spent their first nights away from home (and loved every minute of it).

We strive to ensure that all Beavers try new things while they’re with us, and that is a target that we rarely miss!

Beavers, like the rest of Scouting, is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our Beaver Scout Leader, Gaby Durnford, plans an exciting weekly programme.

If you’re child is interested in joining Beavers, please do get in touch here. We love new friends joining in our adventures!

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
